Stand Your Ground
Text:...”fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the lord…” Exodus 14:13-14.
Beloved, God expects us to stand on His word and hold on to our dreams regardless of any threat confronting us.
Standing still in this context, is not passive inactivity, rather it is an act of great faith! Standing your ground gives God room to intervene in your situation and give you the miracles you need. This is important because where your faith stops, is where your victory stops. So, in times like these, to live independent of circumstances, you must stand by faith.
Standing your ground, means “resting” on the word; ceasing from all worry and fear. It means holding on relentlessly to the unfailing truth of what Christ has done for you, how the Father sees you now, who he has made you and what belongs to you in the new covenant, against every lie of negative circumstances. When you stand still in faith, you are magnifying the victory of the cross against any fear, defeat or setback the enemy is trying to bring into your life; it means refusing to be persuaded that the word will not bear fruit!
Child of God, to stay in the victory that belongs to you, it is imperative that you stand your ground. You do this by receiving the word of God as the final authority in any situation and refusing to be moved from that position of faith! This is what opens the door for God to move supernaturally in your life.
