Text…“for the Lord thy God bringeth thee into a good land, a land of brooks of water…a land of wheat, and barley, and vines,..a land wherein thou shalt eat bread without scareceness, thou shalt not lack anything in it..” Deuteronomy 8:6-10.

Beloved, the blessed life is an endowment bequeathed to you by Jesus Christ. To “endow” according to the dictionary means to “provide with a source of permanent income, especially by leaving money in a will”. So, it is not something you work for; rather it is an inheritance you receive by faith because Jesus paid for it by His perfect sacrifice at calvary. In otherwords, this level of divine prosperity is not achieved, instead , it is received as you obey instructions that make covenant blessings a reality; because it is ..“God that brings you into it”. Obedience is the exchange for the blessing.

Again, it is important to realise that the “land” God has brought you into is not a physical location, but a blessed lifestyle! This is because the blessing is not on the land but on the man; hence God says …“you shall be blessed in the city and blessed in the field…and blessed are you when you go out and when you come in..” In which case, wherever you are, the blessing will show up to distinguish you. The blessing is an empowerment to enjoy a continous harvest of supernatural results in whatever you do. This is the blessed life!

Child of God, the blessed life is God bringing you into a lifestyle of covenant prosperity that does not depend on any one , but on the living God Himself as your source. It’s a level of prosperity that works with the economy of the land where necessary; but most times it works around it; enabling you to flourish like a palm tree and grow like the cedars of Lebanon irrespective of the climate. It is a prosperity that dominates! It is unique and enviable in every sense because it is controlled from the throne of grace.

Beloved, the blessed life is a lifestyle where you enjoy the unlimited goodness of God. It’s a curse-free and struggle-free lifestyle of blessing and favor. It’s a lifestyle where “you lack nothing in it”, rather you progressively enjoy divine abundance;no lack, sorrow, shortage or scarcity; instead you enjoy having your every need met because the blessing is working full steam! It’s a lifestyle of of divine sustainance and wellness in which God alone gets all the glory because He is the source of the blessed life.

My friend, begin to build your faith today in the power of the blessing and step into a lifestyle of grace. May you enjoy the blessed life to the fullest measure in Jesus name!
